These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website (the “Website”) and the services offered by Harmehak Singh (“Therapist”).
1. Eligibility
By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and of sound mind to agree to these Terms. If you are using the Website on behalf of a minor, you represent and warrant that you are the legal guardian of such minor and have the authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2. Services
Each session lasts one hour, and appointments can be scheduled via the Website and through WhatsApp outside of session times.
Please note, the Therapist does not handle crisis situations, emergencies, or self-harm situations. Additionally, no support is provided via calls or texts outside of scheduled sessions.
The Website provides information about psychology counselling services offered by the Therapist. The Website itself is not a substitute for professional counselling or mental health treatment.
3. Confidentiality
The Therapist understands the importance of confidentiality and adheres to ethical guidelines for protecting your privacy. All sessions are entirely confidential and private between you and the Therapist. The only record kept will be any notes the Therapist takes during the process, which are solely accessible to the Therapist. Your personal information, including your name and contact details, will not be shared with anyone without your explicit consent.
You agree to use a secure connection for these consultations and to be in a relatively quiet and private space. Recording of the session, whether audio or video, is strictly prohibited. The contents of the consultation are confidential and must not be shared with any other individual or entity without explicit consent and prior notification. 4. Disclaimer
The information provided on the Website is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as medical advice. You should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions about your mental health.
5. Fees and Payment
Therapy fees and payment methods are clearly communicated in the “Pricing” section of the website and during the initial consultation. You agree to be responsible for all fees associated with your counselling sessions.
6. Appointment Cancellation and Reschedule Policy
Sessions can be rescheduled free of charge if done more than 24 hours in advance.
To reschedule or cancel a session, you must inform the Therapist at least 24 hours prior to the session.
No refunds will be available for sessions cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the session start time. These will be considered last-minute cancellations.
If you do not join the session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, it will be considered a no-show. No refunds or reschedules will be possible, and a new slot must be booked with payment made again to confirm.
In case of a reschedule from my end, you will be informed in advance.
7. Termination
Therapist reserves the right to terminate counselling services at any time, with or without cause. You may also terminate services at any time.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled through mutual agreement. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Therapist regarding your use of the Website and the services offered.
11. Updates to Terms & Conditions
The Therapist reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
